It was founded by Mark Zuckerberg in 2004, the then 21 year old Harvard student while getting his undergraduate degree. Mark was famous for rejecting the Microsoft conference call because he “was still sleeping at 8:30a.m. in the morning”, and has reportedly turned down offers from both Yahoo and Microsoft for buying his company for $1 Billion last year. (His investors wants $8 Billion)

It is now the nation’s sixth most-visited-website, according to the tracking firm ComScore.

2020systems AdBriteRan into a personal friend at ad:tech. Anthony is a bright young guy who got his Ph.D from Stanford University then worked briefly for Google, then AdBrite. AdBrite is backed by Sequoia Capital, who was the original investor for Google, Yahoo, Apple, YouTube, and many others. Too bad he couldn’t stay long with Adbrite as he got to go back to HK for personal reasons. Well, I hope all is well with you and will see you back in U.S. soon.
